Day 43 - Work Week Recap — Patti Part Two

This was a tough long week at work - don't they know I'm counting down?? It was hard to check things off my list this week but I can't complain too much about work since my job is funding my fun. I did have some special moments. Dolce Bakery in Prairie Village HAS to be one of the greatest bakeries in the midwest - and I know bakeries! So I made a stop there one day on my way home from work and treated myself to a pumpkin whoopie pie!!! I love anything pumpkin and these were amazing. Sparked me into making a loaf of pumpkin bread the very next night! And then last night went to Coal Vines on the plaza with my boyfriend for my new favorite pizza. Yumm! Had some wine too!

I also received some surprise gifts! This absolutely perfect tote to take on my upcoming trip and it was filled with fun things to take along - a scarf, slippers and a magazine! I am a total bag lady - love totes, purses, bags of any kind and was spending countless hours trying to decide which bag to take on the plane. Decision made! Taking this one.......

And today got a care package from my sweet Keeley. What do you get from a Starbucks employee? Duh! Great coffee!!! Thanks Keeley!!

Typing this as I watch the Royals play game 6 here in KC. Hoping for a win tonight!!! Let's Go Royals!!
